Overview

Spend 8 nights of Ramadan in Makkah and Madinah with 5 star hotels, return flights from Birmingham and the visa application handled.

  • Fast and break your fast in the Haramain
  • Taraweeh behind the imams of Makkah and Madinah
  • Dates adjusted to the moon sighting
  • Makkah hotel: about 200 m from the Haram
  • Haramain high speed train between the holy cities

Flying out of Birmingham, this itinerary gives you 5 nights near Masjid al-Haram and 3 nights near Masjid an-Nabawi. You begin in Madinah, then enter Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah on the way to Makkah.

The 5 star hotels are a few minutes from the Haram. In Makkah you are at Anjum Hotel Makkah, which means you can join prayers in the mosque or its outer courtyards with very little walking. This is the best option for elderly travellers and anyone with limited mobility.

Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around February 8, depending on the moon sighting. Dates are confirmed once the start of Ramadan is announced. Hotels are busy and the Haram is crowded at iftar and Taraweeh, so plan to arrive at the mosque early.

You can change the hotels or the number of nights. Use the request form on this page and tell us what you would like to adjust.
