This notice explains how Quran Travels ("we", "us") uses your personal data when you use qurantravels.co.uk, contact us or book with us. We are the data controller for this information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The data we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, number of travellers and anything you write in a form or message.
• Booking information: passport details, dates of birth and other details needed to book flights, hotels and visas.
• Special category data: health or mobility information you choose to share, for example a wheelchair request. We use it only to arrange the help you ask for, with your explicit consent.
• Technical information: your IP address, browser type, the page you sent a form from and, if you arrived from an advert, the campaign details in the link.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• To answer enquiries and prepare quotes: steps you ask us to take before a contract.
• To book and manage your trip: performance of a contract.
• To meet legal duties, such as accounting, ATOL and Package Travel Regulations records: legal obligation.
• To protect our website from spam and misuse: our legitimate interests.
• Analytics and advertising cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Website enquiries

When you send a form on our website, the details are emailed to our team. We use them only to respond to you and arrange any travel you ask for.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the suppliers needed to arrange your trip (airlines, hotels, transport companies, insurers and the bodies that process visa applications), with service providers who help us run our business (email and website hosting), and with regulators where the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

To arrange travel to Saudi Arabia and other destinations, some data must be sent outside the UK. Where we do this, it is necessary to perform your booking, or we use appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years and booking records for six years after your trip, to meet legal and accounting requirements. Then we delete them securely.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@qurantravels.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children

Our website is not aimed at children. Information about children travelling with their families is provided by a parent or guardian for booking purposes only.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
